ANUARIO DE HISTORIA DEL DERECHO ESPAÑOL

 

Since its publication in May 1924, the Anuario, except for the interruption of the Civil War (year 1935, vol. XII), has been published periodically, thus becoming, for the quality of its publications, an academic point of reference. Nowadays, the Anuario is directed by Benjamín González Alonso, professor of the Legal History at the University of Salamanca. It is published annually in paper.

The journal does not have its own webpage, however the contents of issues published between 1924 and 2004 can be accessed through a DVD edited by the Ministerio de Justicia in 2006.

 

HISTORIA. INSTITUCIONES. DOCUMENTOS

 

Historia. Instituciones. Documentos publishes works on legal history, palaeography, diplomacy and medieval history, although it also publishes studies relating to the period until 1833.

The journal features in, amongst other databases, IMB (International Medieval Bibliography), PIO (Periodical Index Online), REGESTA IMPERII, ISOC and IHE. It is also included in the Latindex system Catalogue, meeting 27 of the required criteria.

CUADERNOS DE HISTORIA DEL DERECHO

 

Since its establishment, this journal has focused on the publication of research and documents about the institutions and sources of history and the history of law.

IVS FVGIT. REVISTA INTERDISCIPLINAR DE ESTUDIOS HISTÓRICO-JURÍDICOS DE LA CORONA DE ARAGÓN

 

Since 1999, this journal focuses on the history and the institutions of Aragon. The journal is featured in databases such as RESH, DICE and ISOC. It also forms part of the Latindex system Catalogue, completing 29 of the required criteria.

INITIUM. REVISTA CATALANA DE HISTÒRIA DEL DRET

 

This journal has an interdisciplinary and international nature. It is directed by Aquilino Iglesia Ferreirós and is the principal means of dissemination of the Jaume de Montjuic Research Group.

There is no record of the journal’s own web address, although the webpage of the History of Law Department, at the University of Barcelona, provides information about the journal, as well as other publications from the Associaciò Catalana d’Història del Dret Jaume de Montjuic (‘Jaume Montjuic Catalan Association of Legal History’).

REVISTA DE DRET HISTÒRIC CATALÀ

 

The Societat Catalana d’Estudis Jurídics, an affiliate society of the Institut d’Estudis Catalans, sponsors the publication of the Revista de Dret Històric Català (rDhC) (‘Journal of Catalan Legal History’).  Its purpose is the study of Catalan legal history and institutions.

REVISTA GENERAL DE DERECHO ROMANO

 

The General Journal of Roman Law (RGDR) is now one of the four electronic Roman Law journals that exists in the network, alongside Diritto@Storia, Rivista di Diritto Romano y RIDROM.

It is led by the Roman lawyers, being at present one of the most prestigious journals on the subject.

It is directed by Antonio Frenández de Buján, Professor of Roman Law,  Autonomous University of Madrid., Juan Miguel Alburquerque, Professor of Roman Law, University of Córdoba, serves as the assistant manager.

RIDROM. REVISTA INTERNACIONAL DE DERECHO ROMANO

 

The International Journal of Roman Law, created under the auspices of the Latin American Association of Roman Law and of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, publishes on the scope of Roman law and its reception.

Diritto@Storia is a journal published in an electronic format. It is of great interest because of the variety and quality of the works published. The works encompass a broad spectrum of topics, from the ancient law to its reception. Its current director is Professor Sini.
