Latin in the Usatges of Barcelona

Abstract

Difficulties that presents the analysis of the Latin text of the Usatges by being of a text formed by accumulation of diverse texts, transmitted in manuscripts of several times and for the intrinsic difficulties of the Latin medieval Hispanic. It points out some of the cha- racteristics of the Latin of the Usatges and it aims their possible dependence of a previous version in Catalan.1
