Abstract

This study analyzes the particular reception of Roman inquisitorial principle in Visigothic sources. We analyze, first, the Roman sources; second, we proceed to textual analysis of the Visigothic legislation in its historical and political context, seeing how the Roman principle was received and their peculiarities.
