Abstract

Based upon a deep and detailed analysis of the sources, the legal experience of Catalan society in feudal matters in the 13th-14th centuries is presented, detailing the attitude adopted by the monarchs and the legal class towards common foral law, which they integrated into Royal law without breaking with the previous tradition.
