Abstract

This article intends to make a synthesis of the most representative figures of two distinct epochs of Law: Quintus Mucius Scaevola, the most representative jurist of his time and perhaps the one with the greatest influence in the Jurisprudence of the Principality, and the glossator Acursius, who with his Glossa Magna laid the legal and systematic basis for the reception of Roman law in the Middle Ages.
