Abstract

After the establishment of general Augusto Pinochet`s Chilean dictatorship, the political forces of human opposition challenge the authoritarianism with a strong political activity and a powerful defense of human rights and rule of law. There remained an historical, political and juridical framework of peaceful transition to democracy.
