Jurisprudential contributions to the historical evolution of the illicit possession of weapons

Abstract

This article aims to review the jurisprudence of cassation appeals before the Spanish Supreme Court on the illicit possession of weapons throughout its different codified forms in the 19th and 20th centuries as a crime, a misdemeanor or an aggravating circumstance that increases the criminal responsibility of the accused.
