Medieval common law in the Galician libraries
Abstract
Nowadays, there are hardly any manuscripts of medieval Roman-Canon law preserved in Galicia, with the exception of the valuable collection in the cathedral of Orense. However, we have historical information that allows us to appreciate a certain extent the quantity and quality of the legal books that circulated in Galicia in the late Middle Ages.
